DAMREV respects your right to control your personal information. If you hold an account with a DAMREV application or service, you can ask us to delete that account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains what you can request, how to submit a request, and how long it takes. It applies to users of our mobile applications, including apps distributed through the Google Play Store, as well as our web platform.
What you can request
You can ask DAMREV to delete your account together with all personal data linked to it. You can also ask us to delete specific categories of personal data while keeping your account active. Both options are available through the form below.
What happens to your data
Once we receive and verify your request, we delete the personal data we hold about you. This includes your profile information, contact details, and any preferences stored against your account. Certain records must be retained for a limited period where the law requires it. As a regulated participant in financial services, DAMREV is obliged to keep specific identity verification and transaction records under Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and related obligations. Where this applies, we retain only what the law requires, for no longer than the applicable retention period, after which the information is deleted.
How to submit a request
Complete the form below. Provide the email address linked to your DAMREV account so that we can locate your records, and tell us whether you want your account and all associated data removed or only specific data. If you prefer, you can email your request directly to [email protected].
How long it takes
We verify every request to protect your account against unauthorised deletion. Once your identity is confirmed, we complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We will confirm by email once your request has been actioned.
